1. Mediate: Set your alarm 10 minutes early and take the time to connect to yourself. This doesn't have be a prayer, but more of a "check-in" where you close out the rush of the day and focus on you.
2. Read: After you mediate, read something of value. The news can be a jarring thing to wake up to. Consider a passage in a book or a poem. Something positive is a great way to get the day going.
3. Eat Breakfast: Sure, we all know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but how many of us actually eat it? Take the time to eat something that is healthy and wholesome. This will keep you energized and moving as you start your day.
4. Exercise: If you are able to, get your exercise in before you go out for the work. One way to do so is to set your alarm early and get moving. It will be hard at first, but we are sure that it will change once this become a routine.
