It can seem impossible to stay calm during the holidays. In between the shopping, parties, and decorating and your body might feel ragged before the big day is even here. To help you feel calm and focused, we have complied some tips to help you out this holiday season.

 

1. Yoga: The art of Yoga is not only known to align the body, but it can also center the mind. The tools learned during yoga can help you to block out stress and to have focus in your body. Deep breathing and using your mind will allow you to stay calm during the hectic holiday season.

2. Reading: We are all connected to the online world. That complied with the busyness during the holidays is enough to make anyone go nuts! Try to end your day with a book where you focus on words and an interesting story for at least 20 minutes a day.

3. Eating healthy: It can be really challenging to eat well during the holidays. There are tons of parties that often warrant an unhealthy selection of food and drinks. Over the holidays, start your day with a green smoothie and stick to veggies at parties.
